Hi there and welcome to Pub Play.
As members of the St Albans Roleplaying Club we take part in games every Monday night. We’ve been playing for over 15 years every week and now we’ve decided to bring a piece of this to you.
This is one half of a dual D&D 5e Planescape campaign: 2 DMs, 2 parties, 1 mega-story. This is something of an experiment in terms of the club and we’re keen to see how it goes. The two parties have met once before and things were strained, but not unproductive.
Our adventurers have been thrust into the world of Planescape from disparate worlds. Each is in search of an ancient relic from their world, which is coveted by a renegade faction within Sigil. The party have been investigating just who and what this group is, and, perhaps more importantly, what these powerful relics might do.
This was our first attempt at recording our D&D escapades. We’ve gotten a lot better at this, with Five Cities being our best series to date. We’re always trying to improve though.
So the video and audio aren’t great, but I hope you enjoy the campaign!
Two weeks have passed since our heroes have slain Nanetin and defeated the rebel Mercykillers in their foul plans in Acheron. Returning from the Immortal Fortress the player characters attend to their own interests for a fortnight, before meeting once again in their favourite tavern: the Golden Bariaur.
We changed up the camera angle (taking over one corner of the pub). The sounds is still a bit dodgy, but this campaign was a lot of fun!
